Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Softagram Analyzer platform and related services provided by Softagram Oy. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Service Description

Softagram Analyzer is a software architecture analysis platform that parses source code repositories, builds dependency graphs, and provides impact analysis for code changes. The Service is operated by Softagram Oy, a company registered in Finland.

2. Account Terms

  • You may create an account using your email address or via GitHub OAuth authentication.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

  • You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the Service.
  • You may not use the Service to transmit malware, viruses, or other harmful code.
  • You may not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.

4. Payment Terms

  • The Service is priced at $19 per active developer per month (USD).
  • A 14-day free trial is available for new accounts.
  • Payment may be processed through GitHub Marketplace or via direct billing.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
  • Prices may change with 30 days prior notice.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time.
  • Upon cancellation, you retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period.
  • No partial refunds are provided for unused portions of a billing period.
  • If you cancel during the free trial period, no charges will be incurred.

6. Data Handling

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

  • The Service processes repository metadata, including file names, directory structures, dependency relationships, and commit metadata.
  • The Service does not store or process the actual content of your source code files beyond what is necessary for structural analysis.
  • Analysis results are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized users within your organization.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to your source code and repository data.
  • Softagram Oy retains all intellectual property rights in the Service, including its software, algorithms, and documentation.
  • Analysis results generated by the Service from your repositories belong to you.
  • You grant Softagram Oy a limited license to process your repository data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

  • Softagram Oy's total liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the 12 months preceding the claim.
  • Softagram Oy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Helsinki, Finland.
  • If you are a consumer within the European Union, you also enjoy the protection of the mandatory provisions of consumer protection law in your country of residence.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect by sending a notice to the email address associated with your account or by posting a prominent notice on the Service.

Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
